Improved Integration

Integrating new technology – it's not always as easy as we’d like it to be. STP controllers haven’t been exempt from that in the past.

Current installation challenges for STP controllers include:

  • Two hook signal wires are needed to connect each controller to an Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG)
  • Different controllers are required for 1-phase and 3-phase STPs

This process is neither easy nor efficient. Here’s how the Red Jacket IQ2 Smart Controller differs:

  • One standard ethernet cable connects the ATG to the first IQ2, and then one standard ethernet cable connects each IQ2 to the next, creating a “daisy-chain” network
  • IQ2 supports all motor sizes in the Red Jacket STP portfolio

Less wiring means simpler installation, increased flexibility in controller placement, and reduced servicing.

One controller compatible with all STP motor sizes means installation and service look the same for each IQ2 controller.

Monitoring Made Easier

It takes time and money to have someone on-site each time you need to diagnose and troubleshoot your STP equipment.

Intelligent Pump Control (IPC) lets you do those things remotely. Here are the two steps to gain remote access:

  1. Connect IQ2 to TLS-450PLUS ATG: The IPC software of the TLS-450PLUS ATG enables enhanced monitoring capabilities of Red Jacket STPs when the controller is connected to the TLS-450PLUS ATG.
  2. Access the Web-Enabled Interface: The Web-Enabled Interface allows you to remotely access your TLS-450PLUS ATG. Since Step 1 enables communication flow between the ATG and STP through the IQ2 Smart Controller, you’re now able to monitor your STPs from any device, anywhere.
