The Red Jacket IQ2 Smart Controller provides operators with real time status and diagnostics for monitoring their Submersible Turbine Pumps (STPs), ensuring site uptime and optimal fuel flow to customers. It features a full-text 2-line display screen providing visibility to STP status and descriptive alarms on the controller. High Performance

IQ2 optimizes fuel flow rates and STP operation through continuous monitoring of pump and motor parameters. With IQ2:

Wiring is easily accessible through the front panel of the controller, versus competitive options through the side of the controller, enabling technicians to more efficiently and safely service the IQ2.

IQ2 Modes of Operation

Explore the flexible modes of operation that allow you to tailor your STP network for optimal performance:

  • Standalone Mode: A single IQ2 operates independently with an incoming hook signal, with the capability to connect up to 31 IQ2s on a single RS-485 network.
  • Direct Mode: Network up to 8 IQ2s to a single manifold, where pumping starts with the lowest addressed IQ2, activating additional pumps in ascending order to ensure a high flow rate.
  • Sequential Operating Mode: Similar to Direct Mode, but with alternating pump activation to minimize wear on the primary pump.
  • ATG Operating Mode: Integrate your STP network with the TLS-450PLUS ATG using Intelligent Pump Control (IPC), supporting up to 31 IQ2s across 32 manifolds. This mode features MODBUS control from the ATG with no hook-switch connections required, allowing for configurations like In-Tank and Across-Tank Staging. Plus, the helper function keeps pumps idle during low demand, activating only when necessary to maintain peak flow rates.
