The Position Sensitive Sensor is installed in a containment sump or dispenser pan and will detect the presence of, and differentiate between, hydrocarbons and other liquids.
To confirm proper installation and operability, the Position Sensitive Sensor triggers a Sensor Out Alarm if it is moved from its installed position, resting on the bottom of the containment area or dispenser pan.
The Position Sensitive Sensor is approved for monitoring high alcohol alternative fluids such as E85.

Using proven magnetostrictive technology to detect hydrocarbons or water, Veeder-Root’s Mag Sump Sensor produces fast reaction and recovery times, which eliminates costly and unwarranted service calls and sensor replacements.
The TLS-450PLUS automatic tank gauge provides the most comprehensive fuel site data for advanced fuel asset management.
This solid-state, non-discriminating sensor is installed typically in a dispenser pan or containment sump location to detect the presence of a liquid.
