The EMR4 is designed to be installed or integrated with any meter as a custody transfer approved electronic meter register.

This system is comprised of two core components - the Display Head and IB Box - along with a series of accessories that allow users to configure a system that meets their specific needs on the delivery vehicle, loading rack, or other liquid dispensing application.

EMR4 DISPLAY HEADS

EMR4 Meter-Mounted Display Head - English

The EMR4 Meter-Mounted Display Head is for installation on top of the meter. The housing is the exact same footprint as both a mechanical register and its EMR3 Meter-Mounted Display Head predecessor. The display head has an ultra-bright WHITE LED backlight to easily see the screen and is built to withstand extreme heat and constant sunlight as well as exposure to harsh and abrasive chemicals. It is UL/cUL, ATEX, and IECEx approved. Part numbers for French and Spanish versions are also available.

EMR4 Panel-Mounted Display Head - English

The EMR4 Panel-Mounted Display Head (also referred to as the Remote Display Head) allows for customizability and flexibility in both mobile and stationary installation applications. It is for installation with an external pulser and when it will be panel mounted or when being used as a repeater display and installed on a lift deck, in the cab of a truck, in an office, or any other remote location. The display head has an ultra-bright WHITE LED backlight to easily see the screen and is built to withstand extreme heat and constant sunlight as well as exposure to harsh and abrasive chemicals. It is UL/cUL, ATEX, and IECEx approved. Part numbers for French and Spanish versions are also available.

EMR4 INTERCONNECT (IB) BOXES

The EMR4 IB Box was designed with the installer in mind. Removable connectors, removable hole plugs, auxiliary power/ground ports, and wiring labels on the door make installing and wiring the IB box easy. It provides an intrinsically-safe barrier for connections to one or two display heads located at dispensing points in the hazardous area. IB boxes can accept either 12 or 24 Vdc input power. An installation kit with 35' communication cable, meter connection adapters, and installation hardware along with diode suppressors are included.

Installation Kits

Select your Installation Kit based on who the meter manufacturer is that the EMR4 will be installed on. Each kit includes a 35’ cable and meter connection adapters. If you have a Dual-Meter System, two installation kits are required. One kit available FREE with purchase of an IB Box.

The optional slip printer can be connected directly to the EMR4 IB Box. Its small size makes it ideal for both mobile and stationary applications to print delivery tickets. If purchasing the EMR4 Display Head or IB Box, the cable is included upon request.

Valves

2-Stage Solenoid Valve

The 2-Stage Solenoid Valve enables preset deliveries by quantity or price. It is normally closed.

3-Way Solenoid Valve - Propane

The 3-Way Solenoid Valve enables preset deliveries by quantity or price. It is normally closed, and installed and operated in the highly combustible environment of a LPG tank. Approved for UL markets.

DataLink Data Capture

The easy-to-use Veeder-Root DataLink PC-based software provides a data management system that communicates via modems to and from the EMR4. DataLink sends transaction data from the meter register to the server automatically, giving you better data going into the back office more frequently. This system generates automatic reports that can be viewed anywhere in the world from any device.

DataLink Kit for Direct Serial Connections to a PC from EMR IB Box Network

The DataLink Direct Connect Kit is required, if connecting to a network of Interconnect Boxes directly rather than using modems. Plugging in the USB key from the kit into the PC will enable the Direct Connect DataLink function.

EMR4 SPARE PARTS

Emergency Stop Switch

The optional Emergency Stop Switch should be installed on a truck near the display head for quick access during a delivery. Push in the button to stop flow. Pull out the button to resume flow.
