Solid State Discriminating Interstitial Sensor
Our products offer the following features and benefits:
Veeder-Root's new Solid State Discriminating Interstitial Sensor uses optic and conductive technology to accurately detect the presence of liquid in the interstitial space of double-wall fiberglass tanks and differentiates between hydrocarbons and others liquids. Liquid in the annulus could mean a dangerous leak.
Alarm conditions - Fuel, Water, Sensor Out - detected by the sensor are indicated by an audible alarm, a displayed message on a TLS-350R, TLS-350 console, and a printed message if the console is equipped with a printer. The alarms are also recorded as part of the TLS-350 or TLS-350R Alarm History Report.
The durable Solid State Discriminating Interstitial Sensor has no moving parts; it can be removed, cleaned and reinstalled from most double-wall fiberglass tanks after an alarm condition is triggered or if service is necessary. The Discriminating Interstitial Sensor is unaffected by vapors, even at high concentrations.
