DIS-T - On-truck Delivery Information System

UK DIS-T

A PC based on-truck computer systemwith remote data collection from the site tank gauge to provide thedriver with all the information needed for safe and efficient fueldelivery - even when the site is closed.

TheVeeder-Root DIS-T is designed to control and manage fuel deliveries atpetrol filling stations. On arrival at site, the system captures keytank data from the gauge and displays it either on-screen or via athermal printout.

DIS-Toffers significant cost savings by locating the key components on-truckrather than on site, meaning multiple sites can be served with one justone DIS-T system.

The equipment and civil works required on site are greatly reduced, further contributing towards cost savings.

Safety

Safetyis a prime feature of the system. All relevant data is clearly andaccurately presented to the driver. Consequently the risks of overfillsand crossovers are greatly reduced.

TheDIS-T uses low power radio transceivers for hazardous environments andwhen used in conjunction with an Emergency Services Cabinet, meets UKlegislation for driver controlled deliveries.
