The new pump incorporates features that allow retailers to save time and money on installation and service. These features include an integrated contractor's box that significantly reduces installation time, and die springs that break the o-ring seals on the extractable. The die springs on the extractable also break the electrical connection reducing service time and improving safety.
The new advancements on the pump also allow for enhanced environmental protection by reducing the risk of fuel spills while servicing the pump. That has been accomplished by providing an easier method of depressurizing the fuel line to drain fuel back into the tank. The pump also includes a monitoring grade siphon system designed for use with vacuum monitoring systems, and has been designed to work seamlessly with Veeder-Root PLLD systems.
"The Red Jacket Submersible Turbine Pump supports Veeder-Root's mission to provide integrated, safe and reliable flow systems that help petroleum retailers maximize uptime and reduce service costs", said Brian Burnett, Veeder-Root's President. "Red Jacket is supported by a world class service organization that has an engineering based flow resource team to help customers get answers to flow questions quickly."
