New PC Software Now Available for EMR³ Setup

October 11, 2004

Simsbury, CT - October 11, 2004 - Veeder-Root has released a PC set up tool that makes setup of its popular EMR3 electronic meter register easier and faster. With the new software, operators can configure their EMR3 electronic meter register on a PC, save the setup as file and transmit the file to the EMR3. That means data inputs for products, currency, display labels, printer labels and custom delivery tickets can be completed one time and then used to configure as many EMR3 meter registers as required.

"Fleet operators will find this new software tool useful," said Craig Bobetich, Veeder-Root's General Manager, Petroleum Business, "They can configure delivery tickets, tax and discount codes and other EMR3 capabilities one time and transmit that setup to every delivery vehicle. That will result in improvements in overall efficiency and the productivity and consistency of delivery drivers."

Bobetich says the new software is compatible with Microsoft® Windows 98, 2000 and XP operating systems, and is designed to integrate smoothly into systems using multiple display heads and multiple interconnect boxes.
