New version of TLS software provides improved ATG access control and easier compliance reporting

SIMSBURY, CT – October 9, 2006 – Veeder-Root introduces its new Maintenance Tracker and History Tool that provides improved ATG access control and easier compliance reporting, announced Cal Tanck, Global Platform Manager for ATG (Automatic Tank Gauge) Products for Veeder-Root.

The new feature provides increased history storage from last ten events to three years and provides for easy print-out of alarm and event history, which expedites the regulatory auditing, processes.

The Maintenance History tool provides a three-year rolling history of protected and compliance alarms, all technician log-ins/log-outs, all service codes and the latest 12 months of passed monthly tank and line leak tests.

“The Maintenance Tracker and History feature addresses concerns over uncontrolled access to critical ATG functions and meets regulator requirements to prevent unauthorized tampering with ATG and critical sensors,” said Tanck.

The Maintenance History tool provides a three-year rolling history of protected and compliance alarms, all technician log-ins/log-outs, all service codes and the latest 12 months of passed monthly tank and line leak tests.

The Maintenance Tracker feature validates service contractor certification by verifying the expiration date on a technician key. These keys are only available through Veeder-Root and the technician must have a valid and current certification. Once the key is validated, the technician will be able to clear protected alarms on the ATG display and perform other restricted functions. These alarms include Sump Sensor Alarms, Position Sensitive Sensor Alarms and Input Alarms.
