Veeder-Root Announces Enhancements to Inform Software

Extended gauge support and e-mail notification now available.

Simsbury, CT. - April 8, 2003 - Veeder-Root today announced design enhancements to its Inform Fuel Management Software. Inform provides automated and centralized collection of accurate inventory, leak detection, and diagnostic information by polling sites equipped with Veeder-Root tank gauges. Veeder-Root has added e-mail notification of alarms to Inform and extended its support of tank gauges to include; Red Jacket ST, RLMs/PPMs, Prolink, ProPlus, ProMax, and most competitive gauges on the market today.

With ever increasing consolidation, mergers and acquisitions in the retail petroleum market, customers have found themselves with a mixed inventory of tank gauging and leak detection systems. This has created cumbersome and often manual reporting systems. With this new version of Inform, customers can now receive the most critical data and alarms across all sites even with tank guages of multiple brands in one easy-to-use format.

Inform's e-mail support offers customers immediate access to critical site information. Inform 3.0 now supports the ability to generate and transmit alarms via e-mail when alarms are generated and transmitted to Inform by TLS-300, TLS-350, and TLS-2 Series tank gauges. This capability is available over IP and/or over standard dialup. Individual recipients and/or groups of recipients can be set up to receive specific alarms or all alarms generated at sites.
