Mark Maybee Named President of Veeder-Root

SIMSBURY, C.T., June 7, 2011 – Mark Maybee became President of Veeder-Root on June 1, 2011. Maybee’s appointment supports Veeder-Root’s commitment to providing solutions that improve the operations and profitability of retail and commercial fueling operations worldwide.

Mark most recently served as the Vice President of the Vapor Recovery Business Unit at Veeder-Root. In this role, he built a strong organization and developed a global Vapor Recovery strategy. Mark joined Danaher in the Danaher Motion business in 2004. During his tenure at Danaher Motion, Mark held positions of increasing general management responsibility culminating with his appointment to VP/GM of the Linear Actuator Business Unit.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Engineering Management degree from the McCormick School of Engineering-Northwestern University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management-Northwestern University.
Mark Maybee is based in Veeder-Root’s Simsbury, C.T. offices.
