Veeder-Root releases a new Advanced Submersible Turbine Pump.

2002

Danaher Corporation acquires Marconi Commerce Systems (Gilbarco) and Gilbarco Veeder-Root unveils a new logo.

2001

Veeder-Root introduces TLS-2; acquires Marley Pump, manufacturer of Red Jacket brand submersible petroleum pumps; and introduces EMR³.

2000

Veeder-Root acquires USTMAN Technologies, Inc. and launches their new Fuel Management Service.

1999

Veeder-Root introduces Inform and TLS-NT.

1998

Veeder-Root introduces Simplicity Fuel Logistic Services.

1997

Veeder-Root introduces Simplicity Petroleum Data Services.

1996

Veeder-Root introduces TLS-PC 32 and WPLLD.

1994

Veeder-Root introduces the TLS-350R.

1986

The Danaher Corporation purchases Veeder-Root from Western Pacific Industries.

1981

Veeder-Root introduces the TLS-150.

1979

Veeder-Root pioneers the automatic tank gauge and introduces the TLS-100.

1976

Western Pacific Industries purchases Veeder-Root.

Veeder-Root mechanical computers are installed in more than 90% of all U.S. and Canadian gasoline pumps.

1930

Veeder-Root incorporates its counters into gasoline pumps.

1928

The Root and Veeder Manufacturing Companies merge to form Veeder-Root, Incorporated.

1895

The Veeder Manufacturing Company invents the Cyclometer.

1867

The Root Company begins to manufacture counting and measuring devices for textile equipment, production and census taking.

1866

The Root Company is founded.
