Veeder-Root Benefits

At Veeder-Root we aim to enhance our workforce by offering a variety of benefits to help meet our associates personal and professional needs. In addition to traditional health insurance programs and 401K plans, we also offer an Employee Assistance Program, local credit union memberships, and relocation assistance. The following are brief descriptions of the valuable benefits offered to our associates.
Medical Insurance: Veeder-Root offers in-network and out-of-network benefits which cover medical, dental, mail order drug program, mental health, and vision care.
Health Care and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts: Employees can open these accounts to set aside pre-tax dollars to be used to reimburse for out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision or child or dependent care expenses.
Retirement & Savings Plan: Following the date you complete one year of continuous service, 3% per year of your base earnings will be credited to your pension account. You may also contribute up to 20% of your income (subject to Government limitations for highly compensated employees) to your Retirement Savings Plan on a before-tax basis. The Company will match $.50 for each $1.00 on the first 6% of your contributions. Employees are 100% vested after 3 years of service for both accounts.
Tuition Assistance: The policy provides reimbursement of between 75 and 100% of tuition, books, and fees for college-level courses related to your foreseeable growth within Danaher Corporation.
Vacation: 2 weeks for one year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 15 years. Vacation is determined as of June 1. For less than a year as of June, a prorated schedule is used.
Holidays: Eleven paid holidays per year.
